Rob Wilson has been promoted to President of Edupoint Educational Systems
MESA, ARIZONA – (November 1, 2007) – After leading the product development organization team that
delivered GENESIS™, one of the most successful products in the company’s history, Rob Wilson has
been promoted to President of Edupoint Educational Systems, an administrative systems solutions

President and Chief Executive Officer Joe Kirkman will retain the latter title and focus on strategic and
major client initiatives.
Wilson is one of the company’s original employees, first hired as Director of Product Development in
1998. His tenure has seen the company transform from a niche consultancy to a market-leading
provider of total student information management solutions. Products developed during Wilson’s
leadership include Corporate Learning Marketplace 2.0, AuroraRT, the company’s first Special
Education solution, and the current product platform, GENED™, on which the company’s GENESEA™
Special Education solution and GENESIS™ Student Information Management solution are built.
CEO Kirkman announced the promotion: “Rob has been a large part of this company’s success for
many years and has built an effective, results-driven product development organization. Today, the
company is experiencing record growth as the GENESIS™ solution earns client and industry accolades
for its functionality and performance. We now need Rob to apply his organizational and leadership
talents, as President, across the entire organization as we expand to seize market opportunity.”
Wilson previously held senior software development and management positions with two early
innovators in education administration systems, Macro Educational Systems and NCS/Pearson. At the
same time, he continued his education and earned a degree in Computer Information Systems from the
University of Phoenix in 1998. He is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD).
Wilson assumed his new responsibilities for the company in January 2009.
